In recent years, there has been a growing movement towards women’s empowerment. From the #MeToo movement to the Women’s March, women are speaking out and demanding their voices be heard. Jennifer came to me after beating breast cancer. She had all sorts of wigs she wanted to wear and I was happy to explore all her different looks.

When I saw her short post cancer hair, I asked her if we could take a few with her grown out hair. The results were simply stunning. This is why as a photographer I’m never afraid to ask my client to get a little uncomfortable.
