What to expect at your maternity photography session – South Jersey Maternity Photographer
At Janice Morse Portraits we want to make your maternity photography session as easy and as enjoyable as possible. Whether this is your first baby or your 5th baby, it’s a special time in your life that should be celebrated and commemorated. Below you will find what to expect during your maternity photography session with us.
Leave all the hard stuff to me. I’ve studied with the best beauty portrait photographers in the world to be able to photograph moms in the most flattering way possible.
The images below are all from one session. That is to show all of the different looks we can do and some of the outfits we provide. We have an entire closet full of dresses and fabrics to make you look and feel beautiful for your pregnancy photo shoot.
First we do a consult to help me visualize your preferred style. These are best done in person at the studio so you can try on dresses and decide which outfits & fabrics you like best. We have from romantic, glam, sexy, classic or modern. Whatever your style, I can dress you. I like to keep the photos classic to show off the best part … YOU!
For this particular session, mom chose an array of colors and outfits to give her lots of variety.
If you opt for hair and makeup as this client did, one of our makeup artists will meet you at the studio and will work with you to create the perfect look. Once you’re fresh faced and ready, we’ll start shooting. This is a studio session but we can do outdoor sessions from Spring through Fall.
Maternity photos can be of just you or of you and your partner and children.
Maternity photography sessions typically take 2-3 hours depending on outfit changes. We also do a variety of lighting to give you different looks.
