Lets be honest with each other, as the parent of a newborn, choosing a photographer for the new love of your life can be as daunting as the pre wedding process.

With that being said, we could not be happier with Janice in every facet of the process. Upon being greeted at her studio, she fed us and gave us something to drink. As a new parent believe me I will take all the carbs I can get. Since our little one was not cooperative at first Janice took the time and patience to chat with us while waiting for Rosemary to finish feeding. It does not take long to see how passionate Janice is and how much she loves her work.

Her studio is comfortable, quiet and feels like home. The picture quality and preparation were exceptional. I would highly recommend Janice Morse Portraits to anyone. :)

We took our brand new son in for baby pictures at Janice Morse Portraits and came out with the most timeless and precious pictures. Within a few minutes of our session we could see that Janice's skill set went much further than photography. As new parents, we felt safe and secure with our baby boy being photographed in her cozy and cute studio. It's kept nice and warm and we had everything we needed to make the session a success. Janice's artistic eye captured everything we had asked for and more, including walking us through how to turn our photos into what are now perfect pieces of artwork in our home. Can't wait to go back for our 6 month old session!

Janice Morse Portraits is simply the best. I am so happy I chose Janice to do both my maternity and newborn sessions. I live in central NJ and I did not like any photographers I found around here. After seeing Janice's amazing pictures online, I knew she was the one! We traveled to her and it was totally worth it. She was willing to listen to our input and work with us. After our sessions were completed, she gave us a preview of each session and my husband and I absolutely loved every single picture. In particular, for our newborn session, we were overwhelmed with everything (that being new parents entails!) and asked if Janice would travel to us, and she did. She did such a wonderful job, just using natural light in our living room. Janice had a special touch with our baby, and it transferred into the photographs. She also has so much knowledge about everything, and is very personable and approachable. She is the one to do any of your photography sessions -- and I am not easy to please. ;o)

It says a lot when you work with a maternity/child photographer 4 times already and your child is only a year and half old! I searched high and low for a maternity photographer and knew Janice was the one as soon as I saw her work! Working with Janice was like working with an old friend. She was open to working with my husband and I on a less traditional maternity shoot. She spent HOURS on an off site location over an hour from her studio and we even chatted it up afterwards. The results were beyond my expectations and I bought every last image! We later met up for a newborn, 6 month, and 1 year shoot for my daughter and I loved every minute of it. Janice has the natural ability to capture those life moments that pass all too quickly. I look forward to working with her on future shoots as I have no desire to look for another photographer. I secretly hope she is still is still working as a photographer many many years from now to shoot my daughter's wedding. Wouldn't it just be amazing to have the same newborn and wedding photographer?! Overall, I give Janice Morse Portraits a 10/10 and highly recommend working with Janice for any and all who appreciate great photography!
