Newborn photography sessions with siblings aren’t always the easiest thing to accomplish. Luckily, I have photographed this family many times. These kids are practically pros. This is our 4th session together. Most recently, we did a maternity session in late summer and they were back for their baby sister’s newborn photography session.
It’s always a great idea to bring something to entertain the older siblings during the session. Especially ones on the younger side like this cute brother. Newborn photography sessions can take some time and they can get restless. It’s a good idea to take them for a quick drive, have an iPad they can use, or they’re always welcomed to play with the toys I have available in the studio. I always have snacks and drinks available so they don’t get hungry while waiting for their turn in the spotlight.
A newborn photography session with siblings is such a great way to commemorate a new addition to your family or the completion of your family. Just think of your kids looking back at these beautiful professional photos when they’re older. As a mom of older children, I know my kids love to look back at photos of themselves and photos of them together as little babies. They love the ones of them holding their youngest brother. I know I’m so grateful to have those images. And you will be too!
These years go by so very fast. Preserve them beautifully with a professional session and amazing products from our studio.
