This was one of those sessions where everything just aligned.
This lovely young lady was turning 25 in a few days. She wanted an elegant boudoir photoshoot as a gift to herself. She said she had wanted to do one and although she knew it was last minute, she wanted to see if we could squeeze her in the very next day.
We did her design consult via zoom that evening and we shot the next day. My makeup artist was fortunately available short notice so we glammed her up for her elegant boudoir shoot and got to work.
This session is the perfect example that a boudoir photo session doesn’t have to be in lingerie. She chose to wear dresses and 1 casual outfit. Boudoir photos can really be anything you want them to be. She chose something a little more on the beauty portrait side and they turned out BEAUTIFUL! What an amazing birthday gift.
This simple casual look is one of my favorites. I love the white on white monochromatic look.
How gorgeous does she look in this polka dot dress? So classic!! Imagine how much she’s going to love these photos when she looks back on them on her 35th, 45th, 55th birthdays!
And for some variety and because her skin looks so good in everything … we did a little pop of color.
I really love how young women are learning at a young age that they are DESERVING. They are putting themselves first instead of putting everyone else first and they are treating themselves LIKE GODDESSES! YES! It’s about time we came to our senses!
