This little guy was a little older than my usual client as he was already 4 weeks old. This age can be a little tougher to photograph. But as you can see, he was a great little sleeper and I had fun wrapping him up and doing newborn poses with him.
If you’re contemplating a newborn session, but your baby is past that 2 week ideal window, it’s not too late. I photograph babies of all ages. At 3 or 4 weeks we can still get very sleepy baby photos like this little guy. At 7-8 weeks we can usually get both awake and asleep photos. If baby is wide awake, they are no longer crossing their eyes and can hold their head up a bit for cute tummy photos. I also have a fe outfits that fit older babies. So don’t let the fact that you missed the 2 week window stop you from having your baby photographed. After all, they’re babies and are adorable at ANY age.
